Our AK Cobra rolling chassis's arrive!

So the day has finally come for the delivery of our AK Cobra rolling chassis’s. It was all a bit nerve wracking whilst we waited for them to arrive but there were no hiccups and the transport firm, StraightEight Logistics, were excellent. The first off the transporter was Alan's and then it was off to mine to unload the other two. The Close I live in is very narrow so the transporter had to park at the bottom of the close and we had to push them up the road to the garage, all this adding more excitement to our special day

I made a last minute change to the bonnet with the smaller riveted on scoop instead of the standard version. AK were amazingly accommodating with this, especially considering I spoke with them on Monday and the cars were being delivered on Wednesday! Hopefully I’ve made the right choice …

Now it's time to start work!
