Radiator hoses fitted, well most anyway...
So I set about fitting the radiator hoses today. All went on fairly straight forwardly except for the bottom radiator hose. I spent some time trying to fit and secure these together howevert it appeared impossible for me to connect the pipe up to the 90 degree hose section. After a few attempts I realised the 38mm 90 degree hose must be too short, and on comparing it to my Dad's it was 20mm shorter. AK are now sending me a replacement. I also added a p-clip to the small return pipe coming from the header tank to the top of the radiator, just to help keep it in place..

Whilst waiting for my replacement 90 degree hose I decided to borrow my Dad's and fit the bottom hose section. After watching one of Russ Howell's informative YouTube clips I decided to copy his idea and fit a munsen bracket to secure the bottom stainless hose section better.

Currently waiting on propshafts from Bailey Morris (should be ready for shipment week of 24th Oct), plus we are having heater boxes and diff covers made up by https://www.bradwellblacksmiths.com, which will be ready the week after.
I am also waiting on my wheels and spinners to arrive from Vintage Wheels in the states. These arrived in the uk on the 14th October however UK customs still have them!
Blog is very good, it's the first time I have had a chance to read all the individual posts and see the additional pictures. I need to get a move on as I am falling behind in my build. Keep up the good work - Dad 👍😎
