AK Loom 'Leg2 - Connections offside front'

So far I have completed Leg1 and Leg 4 of the AK Loom, now it's on to Leg2 - 'connections offside front' I don't think it matters which order you do these AK Loom legs in, well I hope not anyway!!

I am persevering with the plastic connectors on this side so I can match up what I did with Leg4. Again I will also be soldering all connections. Leg2 contains the following wiring: Headlight (Blue/White - Main Beam, Blue/Red - Dip Beam, Red - Side Light, Brown - Earth), Front Indicator (Green/White, Brown - Earth), Horn (2 x Black/Blue), Earth (Brown - Earth - Wheel Arch to Chassis Bolt), Low Fluid (Red/Blue - Low Fluid - to one connector, Brown - Earth - Low Fluid), Repeater Indicators (Green/White & Brown - Earth), We also have the wiring for the Brake Light Switch (Green/Violet - To Brake Light Switch, Green/Violet - From Brake Light Switch) and the Windscreen Washer Motor which is situated under the stainless washer bottle (Green/Black & Brown).

I drilled through from the inner wheel arch to the engine bay and ran the cables/conduit through for the Windscreen Washer Bottle and Horn. I have changed my mind on the type of horn I am going to use however I know I need spade connectors on the end so I have completed this ready for fitting once the horn turns up.

Cable all ready for the horn to be connected

I have used 2 x 2pin connectors for the headlights as I did for the passenger side headlight.

The Low Fluid connections and Brake Light Switch require spade connectors which have been soldered and heat shrink added. I have used the outer spade connectors on the Low Fluid bottle which I am hoping is correct!

I moved on to the repeater indicator (note: black from repeater indicator to brown part from AK loom, White from repeater indicator to green/red from AK loom)

I fitted the earth strap taking plenty of powder coating off the wheel arch to chassis bolt location prior to fitting.

That's this leg done, next up is Leg3 - 'Connections to rear'
