Garage nearing completion

Following the planning application being submitted and final approval being granted early May 2022 work commenced on building the double garage. My early discussions with my Dad (Brian) about my decision to erect a garage and build a Cobra quickly turned into a double garage so we could both build one. I know Dad always regretted selling his Southern Roadcraft Cobra which he built back in the 90's, so it was a perfect opportunity. And Alan (my brother) has joined in to! His garage extension is also nearing completion. 

Here are a few photos of the double garage. There is still a fair amount to complete inside. Insulation is currently being installed before the walls and ceiling is boarded. Electrical points and lighting are being installed, kindly by my godson Laine. Currently looking at sourcing some form of workbench before  finally laying an interlocking floor system (Plasfloor). 

The rolling chassis's are now being delivered on Wednesday 24th August so we need to get moving😀
