Fuel pump fitted plus parts collected from Brasscraft...
We started the day by travelling up to see Cris at Brasscraft in Surrey. We had placed an order with Cris some time back for our Cobra windscreens, filler caps, sun visors, wind wings and various other fittings/fixing kits. Very pleased with all of the items collected, they are now all stored away safely until required...
As our journey to Brasscraft took less time than expected we had time to do some work on the cars. I fitted a bracket to support the top metal radiator hose (to stop it from potentially knocking against the header tank) and then added a more robust split pin through the clevis which connects the brake master cylinder to the brake pedal arm.
I then moved on to tackling the fuel pump. I had been looking at where and how best to fit this, and after speaking with AK I was happy with the location/fitting I had decided on. I am pleased with the results. Next I will be moving on to fitting the fuel filter.
