Drivers side exhaust, fuel pump correction, fuel filter

Following on from the start I made last week I moved on to the drivers side exhaust. After lining up the exhaust and measuring a number of times I fitted the exhaust brackets to the chassis. As mentioned previously the drivers side exhaust is going to be extremely close to the back of the wheel arch. I showed Jon (AK Sportscars) a few photos and he is certain it will be fine, I will keep my fingers crossed! I have now removed both exhausts ready for when I fit the body, which hopefully won't be too long now.

I moved on to correcting a mistake I had made on the fuel pump. There are copper washers that fit each end of the pump and some how I had missed these off. I can't quite believe I did this however at least I noticed now and not further down the line! All now sorted.

I had been looking at how best to fit the fuel filter and noticed on Mikes AK blog that he had used a couple of p clips mounted to the chassis braces that are on the AK Gen3 model. I haven't fitted the fuel hose yet however I think this is a really good solution and I am more than happy with it!
