A trip to collect a trailer and to visit Intatrim
So Alan had decided to purchase a trailer, not any old trailer but an enclosed one! This will obviously massively help us out when we come to taking our Cobras for paint, IVA and interior trim, really thankful to Al for this🙏
The company Alan was purchasing the trailer from are based just outside Middlesborough, so with it being such a long journey we decided to stay one night just outside York. We stayed in a fab pub called The Bay Horse Inn in Green Hammerton and arrived in time to have a nice meal followed by a few beers/glasses of wine. We woke early to a cooked breakfast and then headed off up to Eco Trailers in Nunthorpe. The guys at Eco Trailers were really friendly and gave us a tour of their factory showing us all of the processes that go in to making their trailers. We hooked up Alan's new trailer and then headed off to Intatrim, the automotive interior and seat specialist based in Telford, not far from Birmingham.
We arrived at Intatrim and were greeted by the owner Rob and one of his son's. We spent our time talking about designs, stitching and looking at the different seats and the various trims on offer. The craftsmanship and detail looks second none, it will certainly give the Cobra's the interior finish they deserve. It's now down to making that final decision on the seats and interior trim we want, which is no easy task! A really worthwhile visit and what seems a great family run firm.
It was great opportunity for us to spend some time together, even though we ended up driving over 700miles in a day and half!
A few pics from our trip....
