Recess made for Alternator
As previously mentioned the alternator touches the inner wheel arch and causes the body to be pulled away from the chassis. To resolve this I cut out an area of the inner wheel arch to make a recess. I fibreglassed the area in question and then used grey fibreglass primer paint and black marine paint I had previously used on the wheel arches.
As you can see the body now fits to the chassis and is no longer being pulled away.
I needed to open this hole up a little bit more at the top and bottom
End result, wing now fits to chassis bolt points
