Heater install / ECU cabling from engine bay / Fuel Regulator relocated again!

I had already cut a hole in the body for the heater (see a previous blog update) and now made a start on fitting the heater in the heater box. After successfully measuring up all the holes, I bolted the heater in the heater box placing a strip of foam in between (the box and the heater) to stop any vibration/noise, I then fed the hoses through. I cut holes in the body and run air hoses from each side of the heater in to the cabin so as to draw in clean air (IVA stipulate you can't draw air in to the heater from the engine bay).

I found it easier to have the hoses poking just through the heater box and then doing the jubilee clips up afterwards. It made it a lot easier to pull the hoses through..

Holes for the air vents now cut along with another hole to feed the Canems ECU wiring through. I need to tidy this up a bit and use some P38 to bond back in place the small piece of fibreglass I cut out in between the air vent and Canems ECU wiring. I will also fix the air vents in place with self tapping screws, find some form of mesh to put over the vent holes, and connect up the heater hoses in the engine bay.

Whilst fitting the heater air hoses I realised the fuel regulator was slightly in the way so I have moved this for the third time! Hopefully it will now remain in place...

I will shortly be moving on to fitting the windscreen and have my wood ready and cut to size - 36" !!!
