Dashboard Instruments added
It's two weeks until I take my Cobra to Intatrim for the interior to be fitted so I need to get a move on with the rest of the electrical wiring and the instruments. I have been fairly set on where I want my instruments however to have them central and in line with the stripe they will need to be slightly off centre. I started by cutting out the holes for the speedo and tachometer using a 102mm hole cutter. This is a perfect size and will allow enough room for when the dash in trimmed. Next I moved on to the remaining 4 gauges, a lot of Cobras have 5 gauges however I wasn't fussed about having a clock. These are 52mm in size and I had a hole cutter the same size, this meant I needed to open them up a little more to allow for trim.. Next were the savage switches and starter button, as you can see from the photo below I need to alter one of these so they are all in alignment.
Next I added the warning lights.
